REDUCED! Copper Dutch Oven Hand-hammered, Silver-lined
I really need to sell this great Dutch oven. This is a hand made copper Dutch oven from Bottega Del Rame in Montepulciano, Italy. Mazetti is a master craftsman who makes heirloom quality, hand-hammered copper cookware. This piece is lined with pure silver, which has the highest thermal conductivity of any cooking metal, allowing for beautifully even heat distribution.
Silver has a melting point of over 1000 degrees F, making this Dutch oven safe at oven temperatures with no fear of blistering or melting of the lining as can happen with tin-lined pans. The pan is 2.2 mm in thickness, 30cm diameter, 11 cm tall, and weighs 7.5 lb without the lid.Sturdy, riveted manganese bronze handles decorate the sides. This Dutch oven is perfect for stovetop braising, sautéeing, deep frying, or making soups, sauces, and stocks.
